European Committee for Concrete Progress Towards Practical Design Recommendations

A draft of “ Principles and Practical Recommendations for Design ” for reinforced concrete was recently circulated to members of the Committee for comment, and an amended version was agreed at a meeting of Commission I, at Paris, on 19th June, 1961. It is anticipated that a completed version will be ready for wider circulation this year, after approval by the full Committee. All reports of research results, the derivations and discussions of new design theories are recorded in Bulletins, which may be seen in the Institution library, together with the draft for Practical Recommendations for Design.
