Graphic Analysis of Guyed Masts

A method is presented in which the differences in stay tensions necessary to maintain equilibrium in a mast subjected to wind loading are related to the actual tensions developed in the stays as a result of changes in length of the stay chords caused by a displacement of the mast from an initial position.
