Soil Stabilization Employing Surface and Depth Vibrators. Discussion on the paper by S. Thorburn CEng AMlStructE FICEFGS and R. S. L. MacVicar CEng FlCE FGS

Dr. D. A. Greenwood: ‘I should like to say how much I appreciate this paper by Mr. horburn-who is a former competitor of mine-and Mr. Macvicar. It is very interesting and informative. They have clearly a very impressive record of completed structures behind them, as is evident by the slides which they have shown, indicating many different buildings.‘
