Design for Punching Shear

Existing knowledge on punching shear is reviewed in the context of the recommendations of CP 110. Wherever possible test data are compared with the code equations, which are shown to be reasonable and a great improvement on CP 114. Attention is drawn to areas where further research is needed to confirm design methods. P.E. Regan
