Discussion on A Dome in Jerusalem (the Reconstruction of the Dome of the Church of the Holy Sephulcre) by I.H. Reith

Professor J. Munro (F) (Imperial College): In his interesting and informative paper, Mr Reith has outlined the main aspects of the reconstruction of this important dome. He has also mentioned that he consulted me regarding the stress-analysis of the dome and the arches, and I should like to make a few additional comments regarding those aspects of the project. The first stage consisted of
