BS 8007: the New Code

The Code of Practice discussed in this paper is the latest in a long line of Codes on this subject-CP 7, CP 2007, BS 5337, BS 8007. The content of these documents has changed radically only once, when BS 5337 was written some 10 years ago and limit state design was added.
