Approximate Analysis of Shear and Normal Stress Concentrations in the Adhesive Layer of Plated RC Beams

A simple, approximate procedure for predicting the shear and normal stress concentrations in the adhesive layer of plated, rein forced concrete beams is presented. The theoretical results are compared, and show close agreement, with available test results and with rigorous theoretical analyses based on partial interaction theory. T.M. Roberts
