An Integral Rail and Road Bridge at the National Garden Festival Site, Ebbw Vale

A new 5Om-long bridge of two spans carries a single railway and roadway across rail sidings in a reclaimed industrial area. Track and road are carried on an integral deck with running rail set flush with the roadway pavement. Composite steel and precast unit construction was used to achieve rapid implementation.
