Promoting the profession The further Viewpoint article on this topic (by Mr J. A. Baird on 5 March following that by Mr M. J. Murray on 4 December) has sparked off two further contributions (since that in our column for 19 February from Mr G. C. Peattie). Richard Trail of Glasgow keenly supports the third proposal made by Mr Baird: Mr Baird’s first two courses of action do not much appeal to my taste and I feel are not likely to lead to any perceptible success.
