The New Timber Design Code: EC5

By April next year it should be possible to design timber structures using EC5 instead of BS 5268:Part 2; within about 6 years BS 5268 could be withdrawn and all timber design would then be based on EC5. What would be the advantages of changing to the new Code as soon as it is published? A.V. Page
