Applying Moiré Photography to Internal Load Distribution in Arches and Walls

To enable the modelling of arch bridges in three dimensions, the load-bearing areas within the arch barrel need to be identified. Moiré Photography provides a suitable technique for recording displacements over a whole surface; analogy between a simple wall and an arch barrel can be established. Professor W.J. Harvey and J.
