Certificate in Structural Behaviour

Demonstrate your skill and improve your employability with the Certificate in Structural Behaviour. 

The certificate is an internationally recognised mark of competence that proves you have the skill set sought by modern employers. It will also help you on your way to becoming professionally qualified - the certificate contributes to Objective 2.2 of your Initial Professional Development.

How does it work?

A two hour, online exam will assess your theoretical knowledge and understanding of structural behaviour, including trusses, beams, plasticity, and dynamics. It's incredibly flexible. The exam can be taken anywhere with an internet connection, at a time of your choosing.

The exam is hosted and invigilated by TestReach and comprises 20 multiple choice questions based on our popular Structural Behaviour Course.
​Anyone can take the exam, regardless of Institution membership. ​Sucessful candidates will receive the Certificate in Structural Behaviour. 

The pass mark is 70%.


The cost of sitting the exam is:
  • £75 - Student Members
  • £150 - all other grades of membership
  • £200 - Non-members
How to register

Sign up using the form below. We'll be in touch within two weeks to arrange payment of the exam fee. You will then be able to book your exam date via TestReach. 

Once you've signed up you can access the Structural Behaviour Course free for two months.
