Welcome to the Lancashire and Cheshire Regional Group

Welcome to the Lancashire and Cheshire Regional Group page. This Group represents members of The Institution of Structural Engineers in the area, and should be contacted if you have any queries relating to the Institution or to structural engineering in general.

The Lancashire and Cheshire Regional Group was first established on the 14 December 1922, becoming the first Regional Group to be formed under the changes to the Institution's Bye-Laws. Membership of the Group has continued to grow, from an initial membership of sixteen engineers in 1922, to its current level of over 2000, making it one of the largest Regional Groups.

As well as providing Group information and contact details for representatives in this area, these pages also feature relevant news and events. These events and news articles will be updated in due course so please return to this page regularly to ensure you stay abreast with up-to-date information.
