President's Visit: Report

Member wins Emerging Engineers Award
Congratulations to EEFIT Student Member, Harriette Stone, who was presented with the ICE’s Emerging Engineers Award (EEA) for the London region on the 20 March, beating three other finalists to the prize.

New Digital Workflows and Computational Design Panel
Panel will help members keep pace with the rapid pace of technological development in design practice and address the widening gap between those familiar with digital workflows in the modern office space and those using more traditional methods.
New Humanitarian and International Development Panel
Panel will provide leadership for members, identifying where and how structural engineers can contribute to efforts to confront the challenges faced by the poorest and most vulnerable people around the world.
