Mandatory CPD reporting – our thanks to members
In 2015 the Institution introduced mandatory reporting of CPD for selected members. We would like to thank all those who submitted a record during that year or have done so during the first four months of 2016. The response has been excellent.
Of the 2000 members randomly selected in 2015 to submit their 2014 CPD record, 98.7% did so, meaning that just 26 members were removed from membership. This year we have already received CPD records from over 60% of those selected for mandatory submission.
We still accept and review all CPD records, including those submitted voluntarily, so even if you have not been selected for mandatory submission, you still can send your record to HQ for review.
The Institution’s CPD policy places it at the forefront of professional development policy in the UK, where it is considered an exemplar. Your response reflects a clear commitment to ongoing personal and technical development and high standards of professionalism. Our thanks again.
