New EEFIT reports

EEFIT have published the report into 2016's Japan earthquakes, and a report from a recent grant funded project.

The report, Kumamoto Japan Earthquakes of 14 - 16 April 2016 sets out the lessons from the observed damage and impact due to the earthquakes, focusing on building damage, infrastructure and geotechnical damage, fault rupture and disaster response and recovery.

Also published is Measuring Recovery: signposts to good practice - a report from an EEFIT Grant Research Funded project by Laura Howlett of University College London. The report identifies and describes effective methods for assessing post-disaster recovery in the built environment.
