Public Speaking Competition

The Scotland Regional Group's first Graduate and Student Public Speaking Competition was a great success.

The event was held on 15 November at the Lighthouse in Glasgow. The contestants had to deliver a five to seven minute speech on engineering or an engineering related subject. A panel of judges used judging criteria similar to that adopted by TMI international speeches.

Seven young engineers took part. Judges were delighted at the high standard of entries and extremely challenged by having to choose a top three!
