As we continue to embrace the culture of a truly international Institution and increased participation on Board and Council by all voting members, the Institution Vice-Presidents are elected from 5 worldwide electoral regions and all voting members are eligible to stand for election as Ordinary Member of Council.

UPDATE: All voting members who reside in the UK & Europe will have received secure links from Civica, the Institution's electoral services provider. Please follow the link to cast your vote.


Nominations open on 1 March 2022 for:
 

  • Vice President (Trustee) 2023 - 2025 – 3 vacancies to be filled by election
2 x Vice President elected from the electoral region UK & Europe
1 x Vice President elected from the electoral region China & Central Asia
 
  • Ordinary Member of Council 2023 - 2025 – 4 vacancies to be filled by election

Chartered Members who have submitted a current Institution Continuing Professional Development Return are invited to consider standing for election as a Vice-President 2023-25. See eligibility requirements for joining the Trustee Board.
 
Chartered and Incorporated Structural Engineers, Technician Members and Graduate members (who have submitted a current Institution Continuing Professional Development return) are invited to consider standing for election as ordinary member of the Council 2023-25. See the eligibility requirements for joining Council.
 
Further information and nomination forms (which must be completed by the candidate and supported by ten other Voting Members) will be available from 1st March 2022 at www.cesvotes.com/istructe
 
In due course, voting documents will be issued and you will be able to vote either electronically or by post.
 
The results will subsequently be published in The Structural Engineer, in the e-newsletter and on the IStructE website.
