Speakers
Louisa is a Senior Structural Engineer for Arup where she was worked since graduating on a buildings projects across all sectors. Currently based in The Netherlands, she has predominantly worked in the UK but also in UAE, Kenya and Ghana. Louisa has been a chartered member of the IStructE since 2015. She Chairs the Young Members’ Panel and sits on Council and Technical Products Panel.
Zahid is a highly experienced chartered engineer with over 30 years of experience in new build and refurb projects. Natural communication strengths, supported by high level technical expertise, have led to Zahid successfully managing many high-profile projects covering residential, commercial, cultural, transport, MOJ, health, education, and industrial manufacturing.
Zahid is actively involved with the IStructE and conducts workshops for prospective CEng candidates.
Helen has worked in structural consultancies for over fourteen years, working on projects ranging from arts buildings, schools, and adapting existing structures in the UK to large commercial structures in the Middle East. Since 2012 her focus has been on forensic investigations, while maintaining a role in design projects. She has participated as a PRI interviewer since 2014, and mentors graduate engineers to attain Chartership with the IStructE.
Harvey is a chartered structural engineer with extensive experience across the Greater London area and beyond, specialising in high-rise, mixed-use developments, and sensitive refurbishment of existing buildings. He has been involved in the IStructE for the extent of his professional career; first within the London Young Members Group and now within the South Eastern Counties Regional Group.
Toby is a structural engineer with over 20 years of experience working on a wide range of building projects in many industry sectors. At the time of recording he is Chair of the Applications and Professional Review Panel and has previously organised the professional reviews for the South Eastern Counties Regional Group. He is a professional reviewer for all grades of membership.
