The first annual dinner under the new title was held at the Savoy Hotel on Wednesday, February 7th, 1923, with the President, Mr. E. Fiander Etchells, in the chair.
At a meeting of the Council on the 28th January a resolution was proposed. by the President, and carried unanimously,"That Professor Henry Adams be transferred to the class of Honorary Member, and that the Gold Medal of the Institution be awarded to him in recognition of his services to the Institution and of his long and distinguished services as Chairman of the Board of Examiners.”
