Accidents are costly to the construction industry not only as regards personal injury and money, but in delays to completing the contract and time involved in accident investigations and possible court appearances. From the conception of the design and the initial arrangement of the structural framework, both forethought and attention to detail, neither of which need prove costly in terms of time and money, should enable the designer to produce for his client a framework that can be erected safely.
