Project Description

The new 75,000m² Terminal 2 is the largest single component of a €1.2bn development program at Dublin Airport. It is designed to cater for an increase in terminal capacity of 10 million passengers per annum. The terminal serves 19 aircraft from a 395m long pier. Unusually, arriving passengers emerging from the customs hall share the same space as those checking in below so as to experience the spatial drama of Terminal 2. Another novel feature of the terminal is the provision of US Customs and Border preclearance in the pier itself.
