This cycleway provides step free access for cyclists crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge, replacing the previous route that required cyclists to navigate 55 steps. Located within the constrained setting of Bradfield Park, adjacent to the train station and Sydney Harbour Bridge, the project responds sensitively to its significant heritage context while meeting a 120 year design life. Close integration of engineering and architecture throughout the design resulted in a coordinated solution that responds to the site's functional and heritage constraints.
