Project Description

An extensive restoration project of one of the world’s most iconic buildings, forming part of the Palace of Westminster UNESCO World Heritage Site. Adopting a principle of ‘minimum intervention’ from the outset, the team developed buildable, sensitive and robust repair and replacement details, preserving the historic fabric of the building and maximising the retention of existing elements unless beyond practical repair.
