These sessions will examine modern approaches to repair, maintenance, and intervention planning, providing practical insight into condition assessment, prioritisation, and service‑life management. Session one will focus on coastal and waterfront structures like seawalls, jetties, marinas and other public facing assets. Session two will focus on offshore marine structures like oil & gas platforms, steel structures, and other offshore assets. Together both sessions will highlight how common assessment and decision‑making principles are applied across different marine environments and will offer a broader perspective for engineers working across, or moving between, sectors.
These sessions will help to develop attendees’ competence in assessing the condition and service-life risks of marine structures and contributing to proportionate repair and maintenance decision-making.
By the end of this webinar, you will be able to:
Identify the key structural failure modes, degradation mechanisms, and environmental loads that impact the integrity and long-term performance of marine structures.
Evaluate contemporary structural assessment methods, diagnostic techniques, and high‑level intervention strategies used to inform service‑life extension decisions.
Structural engineers and built-environment professionals in coastal, waterfront, or marine structures at all career stages.
Structural engineers in broader practice areas who encounter marine structures within their project portfolio.
Please note, these webinars are sold together as a series and are not available to purchase individually.
