Application deadlines
The Engineering Council operates to strict application deadlines for submission of documents to the review panel, which can be found on it's website. Members are advised to make their applications to the Institution as early as possible as there is currently no guarantee that your application will be reviewed at the subsequent meeting due to limitations on capacity at each meeting. The Engineering Council will inform you directly which meeting your application will be reviewed at.
If you are seeking professional registration status in the states of Queensland or Victoria you can apply via the IStructE’s assessment schemes. Membership of the IStructE is not necessary.
Full details of the application requirements, assessment process and application forms can be found on the Queensland or Victoria pages.
