Extensive insulation proved to be a key ingredient in enabling Underhill House, the first certified Passive House in England, to achieve its certification. The project, which incorporated many innovations, was the subject of a UK TV programme.
Professor Abdy Kermani, Director of the Centre for Timber Engineering, Edinburgh Napier University, explains how the Centre's activities in support of the timber construction industry have gained national as well as international recognition.
