The Exams Panel is responsible for the Institution’s exams, including exam content and result moderation.

The panel reviews examination procedures, appoints examiners, develops questions and considers feedback from exam centres and correspondence from candidates.

It also makes awards for outstanding exam performance and considers appeals against exam results.

Structure:
  • Four Chartered Membership exam advisers
  • One Associate-Membership exam adviser
  • Three Specialist Diploma advisers
  • Two training assessors

Get involved:

You will work with the panel to advise the Membership Committee on all matters relating to Institution exams.

You will attend trial marking meetings in February and August, where examiners discuss the marking of scripts for the Chartered and Associate-Member exams.

Sub-panels for each exam meet in March and September, to moderate the exam results and select prize winners. You will have full access to all related documents.

Participating in the panel is a great way to contribute to your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

We invite expressions of interest in panel membership each September, contacting all members except Student Members.

Contact the panel if you have questions about their work.
