Mr. J. Martin: It is fascinating to observe our delightful neighbour France, to pass comments about her, and to indulge in comparisons with Britain. It also has its dangers. However, we venture some observations for what they are worth. At least they result from our experience as engineers working in France, and so perhaps they are of value to others who are about to work there.
