Renovation of a 17th century French farmhouse

This paper describes the renovation of a row of four dilapidated farm buildings located in a small hamlet to the south of Dinan, Brittany, France. Included in the paper is a description prior to renovation, causes of the decay, improvement to the structure, strengthening of stone
walls, assessment of timber and the use of lime mortar rendering.
