The Skyways Project in Speke is a development to create a new headquarters for the Littlewoods Shop Direct Group by converting a former military aircraft hangar and the construction of two new buildings, Fig 1. The construction of Hangar 2 will be of interest to structural engineers and this paper will predominantly concentrate on the restoration and conversion of this building.
