This paper presents The Concrete Centre Academic Partnership Programme (2005-to date) with Civil/Structural Engineering Departments of universities in the UK. The programme objectives include developing and disseminating teaching and learning resources on concrete such as CALcrete - Computer Aided Learning for Concrete - and Eurocode 2 resources for lecturers, supporting research on concrete and disseminating findings with initiatives such as the research contact database and the biannual Research Symposium and, encouraging interest and raising competence in concrete design and construction with initiatives such as the yearly student design competition, the biannual Concrete Communication Conference and the Graduate School for young professionals.
