On 18 March 2022 IStructE Humanitarian and International Development Panel co-organised a talk by the celebrated architect Yasmeen Lari at the RIBA headquarters in London: Saving Humanity and Saving the Planet, in collaboration with RIBA and Oxford Brookes University.

Yasmeen talked about her work in architecture and social justice:

  • Delivering low cost, sustainable and climate resilient housing to those in greatest need

  • How approaches could be realised at scale
