By working together we will share knowledge and promote structural engineering while ensuring connectivity

The Institution and the UK BIM Alliance are delighted to announce a formal affiliation. By working together we will share knowledge, aligned messaging, promote structural engineering and ensure connectivity.

Matt Byatt, Vice President of the Institution and Chair of the Engineering Leadership Group, said:
"The Institution is pleased to work with the BIM Alliance to support the implementation of BIM in practice and provide a coordinated approach to digital transformation across the built environment."

Steve Faulkner, UK BIM Alliance Affiliates Leadership Team, said:
"The Affiliate programme aims to bring together the professional institutions, trade associations and any other industry organisations to provide a consistent message and coordinated approach to digital transformation, working across silos to a shared objective.
