As part of ongoing outreach to engage the next generation of engineers, Moahamad Khodr Al-Dah, visited GEMS Wellington School on 30 April 2025, where he spoke to Year 12 and 13 students about the world of structural engineering. The visit provided a unique opportunity for students to gain firsthand insight into the profession from a global leader in the field.
During his talk, the President shared highlights from his career, the challenges and innovations shaping the future of structural engineering, and the importance of creativity, sustainability, and collaboration in building the world around us.
The event was part of the IStructE regional group’s efforts to promote engineering careers among students and build early awareness of the vital role structural engineers play in shaping resilient and sustainable communities.
