On 6 May 2025, Abu Dhabi University proudly hosted the 7th Women in Engineering Forum, an annual event supported by the IStructE UAE Regional Group.
This year’s forum featured a compelling panel discussion titled “The Role of Engineering Societies in Shaping a Sustainable and Inclusive Future.”
Among the distinguished speakers was Iman Abi Saab, Chair of the IStructE UAE Regional Group, who joined an inspiring lineup of female leaders and presidents representing the ACI, ASCE, CIOB, FIB, and the Society of Engineers UAE.
The panel explored how professional engineering institutions are driving meaningful change by empowering women in engineering, promoting inclusive leadership, and advancing sustainability across the built environment.
