Election results for new Trustee and Council positions are announced today by the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).

Following global voting as part its corporate governance, the following members have been elected:
 
Vice Presidents (Trustees) 2026 – 2028
  • Dhanya Paulson - Vice President (Trustee) Australasia and South-East Asia: Dhanya is an IStructE Member, based in Sydney, New South Wales and works for AECOM in Australia.
  • Nicola Stockbridge - Vice President (Trustee) UK and Europe: Nikki is an IStructE Fellow, based in Wales, UK and works for Arup in Cardiff.
Ordinary Members of Council 2026 – 2028
  • Robert Moss: Robert is a Fellow and is based in Derbyshire, UK. Robert brings a wealth of experience in his career as a structural engineer having worked in both local government and the private sector.
  • Professor Tak-Ming Chan: Tak-Ming is a Fellow, and is based in Hong Kong, China, where he works as a Professor at the University of Hong Kong.
  • Georgia Lilley: Georgia is a Graduate member, and is based in Essex, UK. Georgia is currently a project manager at AECOM.
Yasmin Becker, Chief Executive of IStructE, says of the election results: “We welcome the skills, knowledge and expertise of these newly elected Board Trustees and Council members. Their roles are crucial to help shape the future of IStructE as the global professional body for structural engineers. I look forward to our dynamic working relationship over their respective tenures on Board and Council.”
