Congratulations to the winners of this year's Structures prizes, which recognise excellence in both fundamental research and work that impacts on engineering practice.

We are delighted to announce the winners of the Structures prizes 2025, celebrating the highest-quality research published in the journal during 2024.
 

Best Research Paper

The Best Research Paper Prize is awarded to:

'Experimental study on direct-shear behaviour of narrow joints in socket connections for precast pier-to-pile footing systems'

Best Research into Practice Paper

The Best Research into Practice Paper Prize is awarded to:
