This document explains the positive reasons why the Extraordinary General Meeting is necessary and to encourage you to support the Institution’s Board by turning out to vote for the proposed changes

As the Institution continues to grow internationally and as we seek to be ever more mindful of developing as a transparent and inclusive community in all that we do, then now is the time for us to make some modest changes. Structured for Success explains the positive reasons why the EGM is necessary and the Institution Board encourages all voting members to attend on 6 May 2021 and to vote for the proposed changes.

Wind loading on structures to EN 1991-1-4

This course takes place as a series of two-hour interactive sessions over three weeks. It introduces EN 1991-1-4 for determining wind actions on structures, outlines the basic principles behind the code and covers each step of the procedure for calculating the wind loads on structures. Attention is given to important features introduced by the UK NA.
