The benefits of using the electronic pile schedule.

Pile design to Eurocode 7 has been implemented in the UK since March 2010, yet the industry has not broadly adopted a suitable format for issuing pile loading information (Selemetas and Bell, 2014).

The requirements of Eurocode design can result in pile load schedules with at least ten different characteristic actions. The lack of consistency, completeness and clarity of the various schedules creates unnecessary confusion in pile design and results in determination of incorrect pile sizes.

This presentation includes:
  • An overview of the electronic pile schedule’s key components
  • The benefits of using the schedule
  • How standard processes can benefit a project
