This talk demonstrates the designing potential of sketching using digital software, and how the practice is innovating the industry.

In this talk, Drawing At Work founder Trevor Flynn is joined by Radu Axinte, Senior Designer at Heatherwick Studio, and Oliver Diamond, Senior Structural Engineer at Whitby Wood, to discuss the benefits of digital sketching and its large range of applications in visual communication.

Trevor Flynn, Director, Drawing At Work
Trevor is the Director of Drawing At Work and founder of The Drawing Gym. He designs and teaches courses at Dyson, Foster and Partners, The Design Museum London, UCL, Bath University and The Architectural Association.

Radu Axinte, Senior Designer, Heatherwick Studio
Radu is an architect who has worked on some of the most iconic architecture projects in London. A highly skilled freehand artist and water colourist, he combines a passion for sketching with an appetite for digital image-making.

Oliver Diamond, Senior Structural Engineer, Whitby Wood
Oliver has nine years experience in the industry, having worked for both temporary and permanent works designers. He has developed a keen eye for construction methodology and uses digital sketches to help convey sequences, tricky details and concepts to the design and client team.
