Chartered Membership examination prep

Chartered Membership examination prep
A 11 week online course preparing candidates for the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) Chartered Membership examination. It develops the ability to interpret an open-ended structural design brief, produce and appraise distinct viable and sustainable solutions, communicate design decisions, and complete the calculations, drawings and construction methodology required by the examination. Teaching combines live instruction, examiner feedback, worked examples and weekly practice using past papers. The course focuses primarily on building structures. The principles are broadly transferable, but bridges and specialist structures such as offshore, seismic and silo structures are not specifically taught.
