We also award prizes to members who perform exceptionally well in Institution exams.

Message from the Chair

Scott Renfrey
I’m pleased to step into the role of Chair for the IStructE Beds and Adjoining Counties Regional Group. This year, my main focus is on bringing people together—both professionally and socially. We’re planning more face-to-face technical talks and networking sessions, giving members the chance to share knowledge and connect in person again. 
I’d also like to organise a few site visits across the region so we can see and discuss real projects up close.
Our Summer Annual Dinner will return as a relaxed chance to catch up and celebrate the year’s work. 
Another key goal is strengthening links with local universities and colleges to highlight what the Institution offers and encourage more students to get involved.
I’m looking forward to working with all of you to make the most of what our region has to offer.
