I esteem it an honour and a very great pleasure to be afforded the opportunity of addressing the Concrete Institute. We have watched from the other side of the water the formation and development of this Institute with a great deal of interest, and we have hoped to see great and good work come as the result of its formation. I am not particularly familiar with all the details of the scope of the work of the Institute, but as I understand it, it is primarily engaged in the work of education, and I think that education is to-day the keynote in connection with the development of concrete.
