THE Cement Gun Apparatus had a rather curious origin. It was invented in America between 25 and 30 years ago, as the result of some experiments made by Mr. Carl Akeley, a big-game hunter, in forming the mounts for his trophies. He disclaimed any intention to condemn concrete floors generally.
