In perusing the very interesting contribution to the study of pre-stressed concrete from Dr. R. H. Evans and Mr. G. WiIson, in the August 1942 issue of The Structural Engineer, a few facts should be kept in mind.
THE PRESIDENT (Mr. W. K. Wallace, M.Inst.C.E., M.I.Struct.E.) described the paper as unique; and congratulated Mr. Snow on the able manner in which he had presented it.
MR. F. E. DRURY remarked that as he was the one who requested that this second meeting to discuss this Paper should be held, it was only logical that he should take part in the discussion.
