The President announces that Vice-Presidents will in future be elected from each of six world-wide voting regions.

Earlier this year, the Institution announced plans to amend the way in which members are elected to the governing Trustee Board because, as we continue to grow internationally, it is vitally important that the Board has participation from around the world on a permanent basis.

Vice-Presidents will in future be elected from each of six world-wide voting regions and those elected will join the Board from January 2022 for a three-year term.

The process will be phased over the next three years and that voting papers for election of a Vice-President from the new India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) electoral region will be sent to voting members in that electoral region on the 7 June 2021.

The President thanked the three IMEA candidates standing in the two-stage election process and stated that these are exciting times for the Institution where members have the opportunity to contribute to ensuring increased inclusivity on the Board by casting their vote when voting starts on the 7 June 2021.
