On behalf of the Trustees of the Institution I am very pleased to announce that Institution Fellow, Peter Terrell, has been appointed as Chair of the Institution Board with effect from January 2020, initially for a two-year term.
Not having previously served on the Board, Peter brings a fresh approach to the role as well as an international perspective, having run his consultancy business in France, the Middle East and the UK for many years. Both the Board and executive team are very much looking forward to working with Peter.
Commenting on his appointment, Peter (who is currently a member of Council and a member of the Structural Awards judging panel) said that he promised to do his utmost to fulfil the Board’s confidence in him and added that he was very excited about the future of the Institution and the small part he might play in its continued success.
