Peter Debney explores Artificial Intelligence and how it can help structural engineers.

Listen to Peter Debney's presentation from the 2020 Digital Design and Computation e-conference. Peter's presentation explores:
  • What AI is, and what it is not
  • How AI aims to encapsulate knowledge and enable automatic decision making
  • Optimisation as a form of AI
  • How we might use AI for design
  • Optimisation and optioneering as key tools in achieving zero carbon
