Speakers
John Armitage is Technical Director (Bridges) at Ramboll. He is a bridge designer with over 20 years’ experience in major highway and bridge schemes, including Queensferry Crossing landside structures, motorway widening and junction upgrades. He recently acted as Structures Technical Lead for HS2 Enabling Works North, including the design of bridges using DfMA techniques for bridge substructures. He led Ramboll’s input to Laing O’Rourke’s Digitally Enabled and Assured Product Based Bridges scheme.
Chris Hendy (Chair) is Chairman of
fibUK and Technical Director at Atkins. He is a member of fib Commission 3 on Existing Concrete Structures and Head of the UK Delegation to fib Technical Council.
